Definition for : Forward exchange rate
The forward exchange rate of a currency is the rate that can be fixed today to buy (or sell) a currency at a Future date. It is based on the Spot price and the Interest rate differential between the foreign currency and the Benchmark currency during the period covered by the transaction.
